Welcome Home
Keys drop into a dish, shoes come off with a sigh, and the day stays outside the door. A quick glance in the mirror on the way out; a coat on its hook on the way back in. Muddy boots, umbrellas, a bag tossed down after school. The first few steps inside are where home begins.
